Interview: State Sen. Vin Gopal

State Sen. Vin Gopal (D-Monmouth) says he is drafting legislation that would mandate consolidation for some of New Jersey's more than 600 school districts. The bill will require schools to merge or share services, as lawmakers look for ways to reign school funding costs and keep property taxes down, Gopal said.
