10/18/2023 | 3m 12s
From overseeing departments to cutting ribbons, let's explore what exactly a mayor does.
The executive branch of our government is the body that enforces the laws of the land. At the local level the chief executive is often called a mayor, and they have a lot of responsibilities. Mayors oversee the various agencies and departments that make daily life in your town operate like the fire department, engage with town councils, and are a social figurehead for their city.
