Voters in the Tacoma Public School district will be voting on a massive $500-million bond issue to rebuild or renovate all but six of the schools in the district. It is a huge commitment for homeowners who are still struggling from the effects of the recession. But deferred maintenance has a cost too, and interest rates are at historic lows. Panelists for and against the measure speak their minds.
